Configuration

Hello Everyone,
May I know what would be the best suggestions in configuring pfsense.
Thank you very much :)

Hello,
By far, pfsense works best if you configure it properly…....
Seriously, we'd love to help if you could give us a little more to go on. What are you hoping to accomplish with pfsense, have you already built a setup, do you have a special scenario in mind, etc.
Fill in a few more blanks and you'll probably get a few more answers ;)

Hi Divsys,
Actually I don't know what else would be better in to put or configure in my pfsense. Or what do you suggest?
Thank you :)

I recommend using pfSense as a router/firewall.

But what about it's merits as a room heater, or even a heated door stop?

can pfsense speed up internet connection? download and upload?
how about traffic shaping? Limiter? network anti virus?

Your internet connection speed is set by your ISP and how much you're willing to pay them.
You can improve the overall performance of your internet connection by using an "accelerator" or caching package like Squid
See the Packages forum section for more details.

So not too good as a room heater then.
You need a rack of overclocked Netburst Xeons. :PSeriously though. pfSense has great traffic shaping/limiting features:
https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Traffic_Shaping_GuideUsing Squid as a 'web accelerator' is unlikely to make much difference if you only have a few machines.
