DHCP Leases Behind Bridged AP Switch Ports not showing up
-
I've got an Airport Extreme setup with a static IP in bridged mode with my BluRay player, RaspberryPi, and AV Receiver plugged into the switch ports of it. Those three devices, however, do not show up under Status -> DHCP leases. I know they're getting dynamic IP's because I can ping the names and they resolve with IP's outside my static reservation scope…
Is there something I'm missing?

Off the top of my head I would guess that the Airport Extreme is still issuing DHCP addresses or at minimum listing itself as the gateway for its attached devices.
If you can ssh into the RPi you should be able to see what its gateway is set to and maybe even force a dhcp renew to test.
You can watch for DHCP requests in the System logs on pfsense.

I'm not seeing any DHCP req coming in for the static lease assignment the airport extreme is assigned (192.168.1.2). I ssh'd into the raspberry pi and looked at the ifconfig/route info, but nothing looks out of order?

Issue resolved- back when I was only using the Airport Extreme as my router, it had cached DHCP Reservations still listed, despite being in Bridge mode. I changed it to handle DHCP without actually hitting apply, removed the DHCP entries, the reset it back to Bridge and applied settings.
Thanks for the tip divsys!
