I'm running a development web server and I want to make it accessible from outside so I can use the w3 validator tool. I made a NAT port forward rule with the following settings:

      Interface: WAN
      Protocol: TCP/UDP
      Destination: WAN address
Destination port range: from HTTP to HTTP
      Redirect target IP: 192.168.1.150
      Redirect target port: HTTP

I can access the web page from inside the network with the internal IP but when I try the external IP I get the pfsense web configurator login promt almost as if pfsense is hijacking the request and ignores the 80 port forward to the web server running on 192.168.1.150 (pfsense is on 192.168.1.1).

I also tried changing the "System -> Advanced -> Admin Access" "TCP port" to 8080 instead of 80 and turning on/off the  "Disable webConfigurator redirect rule".

Why is pfsense hijacking the request?
