Here is what I am trying to do.

We have an IP phone system on site A which sits behind a pfsense firewall. The company have another office - site b -with its own internet connection (also behind a pfsense box). I need the phones located at Site B to pull  a dhcp address from Site A so that the phones 'think' they are physically located at site A instead of B.

Reason being the phones company want a high 4 figure sum to install a module for 'remote offices' which I am loath to pay as there are only 2 people at site B.

      any help appreciated.

It's not so much about allowing anything but connecting the two LANs with a VPN solution that bridges them together. OpenVPN can do that, not sure about IPSEC.

KPA mentioned OpenVPN. Use a tap VPN interface to bridge. It will effectively create a single broadcast domain tunneled over the Internet.

sounds good but I have no idea how to implement it. Fancy doing it for $100 ? drop me a pm.
