      I'm not sure when this started happening but this never happened before.

      If you look at the traffic graph attached, you can see that that the outgoing LAN BW is 22.89 Mbps. This is generated traffic from any single torrent download from one computer. There is no background LAN activity that will add up to anything. The incoming WAN2 BW is 5.89 Mbps and incoming WAN3 BW is 6.12 Mbps.

      If you add the incoming WAN2 and WAN3 BW's, they are nowhere near the total outgoing LAN BW. Why is that?

      I'm sure that all traffic generated is through this torrent activity and nothing else because when I pause/stop the download, everything goes down to merely 300+ Kbps.

      Please help.

              Oh ok. No fix yet? This never happened to me before until now. I'm not sure if it's because of the updates?

                  BUMP! What is happening with the mods here? Why can't they acknowledge that this is really a problem?

                      These forums are mainly user-assisted.  While the pfSense people are often here to help with some problems, their obligation is to their paid support customers.  If this is a bug then I doubt it's going to get fixed in 2.1.x since they're busy working on 2.2.

                        I get that part. But would it be at least acknowledged that this is a known bug?

                            @kevindd992002:

                            BUMP!

                            I also still have the issue of it showing 2x or 1/2 the real traffic, which also causes issues with scaling since it sometimes draws off the graph. It sometimes affects the upload or the download or both, but I have never had it affect both upload and download with the same multiplier at the same time. One may be 1/2 and the other 2x, but not both 2x or both 1/2. Not that I've noticed anyway. RRD seems to be unaffected and the raw numbers seem to be correct.

                              Isn't this a real bug in the system? I mean this wasn't the case in the previous versions. Why is it in the lowest priority of their to-do list?

                                Yes - I've read in the past where bandwidth is display incorrectly at times.  It was a bug before.  Not sure if it still is.

                                  I can confirm it still is. It was a bug in the latest version and not in the previous versions.

                                    It's a bug in FreeBSD, which makes it appear in pfSense.  Traffic in certain cases counts double.
