      Hi There,

I am using pfsense 2.1.3, sometimes happen that the clients do not receive ip renewal. When I remove the lease expired lease using the web interface they receive it.

How can I force DHCP server to always renew clients address?

      Thanks

The server should always renew, unless something is wrong with the lease or request. Check the DHCP log (Status > System Logs, DHCP tab) next time to see what, if any, log entries mention the failing client's MAC address, IP address, or its lease.

          Hi jimp,

Solved, It was squid that fills the file system, maybe, is better to place default squid logs folder to another folder.
Squid has filled rapidly the file system in alix embedded system, so DHCP server database has no more space to insert new records and It can not offer new lease.

          Thanks

Squid should never be set to log or cache on NanoBSD. The RAM disk is not large enough, and ALIX does not have enough RAM to make it bigger.

              Hi there,

So squid is not compatibile with nanobsd on alix board?

Where should I read wich packages available are compatibile alix?

              Thanks

It will work in an access control capacity (with squidGuard) but only if you are careful about how they are configured.

They are not compatible with caching or logging on ALIX using NanoBSD
