      pfSence 2.1.4, Mobo - Jetway NF99FL-525.

I have a UPS that has been running fine on a CentOS server using the blazer_usb driver for a couple of years.  I'm now trying to get this UPS working on Pfsense (different hardware).  The problem I am having is that Nut will not start.

Plugging the UPS in produces the following in syslog:
      kernel: ugen0.2: <vendor 0xffff="">at usbus0
      kernel: uhid0: <vendor 0="" 2="" 0xffff="" 068a,="" class="" 0,="" rev="" 1.00="" 1.00,="" addr="">on usbus0
      kernel: device_attach: uhid0 attach returned 12

Attempting to start Nut manually with "/usr/local/etc/rc.d/nut.sh start" :

      starting blazer_usb
Network UPS Tools - UPS driver controller 2.6.5
Network UPS Tools - Megatec/Q1 protocol USB driver 0.09 (2.6.5)
      Permissions problem: Input/output error
Driver failed to start (exit status=1)
      blazer_usb failed to start

Attempting to start the driver with "/usr/local/libexec/nut/blazer_usb -a CXR-1500 -DDDD "

Network UPS Tools - Megatec/Q1 protocol USB driver 0.09 (2.6.5)

Both the above commands produces this in syslog:

      kernel: uhid0: <vendor 0="" 2="" 0xffff="" 068a,="" class="" 0,="" rev="" 1.00="" 1.00,="" addr="">on usbus0
      kernel: device_attach: uhid0 attach returned 12

I have done a lot of searching but not turned up anything that helped.  Hopefully someone here can help.

      Thanks in advance.</vendor></vendor></vendor>
