Public IP through TWO NATs ? (possible?)
-
Hi, i have a public range from the provider and a PFsense behind my main router (which connects direct to the ISP). I am wondering if possible and HOW i can map one or more public IPs from the provided range to the LAN clients of the PFsense… Of course this function work with a single PFsense using virtual IPs and NAT rules.
My LAN side is 192.168.1.0/24, my WAN(to main router) is 192.168.100.0/24 (eth0)
Thanks in advance

yes possible.
main router as your gateway.
eth0 - public ip #1
ethx - public ip #2
optx - public ip #ngood luck, the fun side is in the route settings ;-)
