2.2 HyperV + Gateway outside subnet issue

Hi all,

I know this has always been a technically unsupported configuration but I have a case here where I'm using the latest 2.2 snapshot under hyper-v and where the gateway of the network is outside of the subnet where my IP address is. On the 2.1 hyper-v builds that I previously used I used to follow the following method,

route add -net 1.2.3.254/32 -iface em0
<hit enter="">route add default 1.2.3.254

to add the route and then the gateway would come up and work normally. However after doing so on 2.2, all I get is a Time to Live exceeded message when attempting to reach either the gateway or any other WAN destination. Is there a way to troubleshoot this further or correct this issue?</hit>
