This issue have been discussed in several threads already and I think there are workarounds.

many work-arounds, all of which reduce to "flush your browser cache" (because the CSS changed)

My current workaround is to copy the url from another firewall which is not upgraded.
Clearing the cache had no affect in my firefox. Furthermore purging/moving the .mozilla folder and starting a fresh firefox without importing anything results in the same silly menu.

            cheers - Thor i

Change the sansserif font and/or character size in the settings menu of your browser, should help in most cases…

                    Chrome isn't chromium.

                    Which OS are you using?

I know - I just like to know the nature of the problem instead of just "try another browser" that has the same problem :-)

I'm using ubuntu on my laptop here. The problem is resolved for my as I have found and read the bug report like I posted before.

i.e. as workaround I installed tahoma font.

                      Cheers  - Thor

Its odd that you had to do anything at all.  I'm using mint (ubuntu) and its unaffected.
                        But I'm using Chrome Stable.
