Compatible ADSL2+ PPPoA pci cards

Hi I couldn't find a up to date list of cards that are compatible what I want to do is use a pci modem so I can eliminate the need to have a external modem/router as well as the pfSence box.
I read that you have to have a card that is detected as a network card? Would this mean that I still could enter in my adsls username and password somewhere?

That's correct. There's only one I know of that has been shown to work:

Read this thread if you haven't already: https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=79929.0Why do you want to do this? There are plenty of reasons to just use an external modem.

I am planning to use my pfSense box with a Draytek Vigor 120, I think is the only solution since pfSense does not manage PPPoA or PPPoA Half-Bridge connections (AKA IP extension, i.e. Digicom CX Modem).
Vigor 120 has a PPPoE/PPPoA relay (software) that allows pfSense to manage ADSL connection authentication via PPPoE, than Vigor 120 will manage PPPoE –>PPPoA connection to ISP.

Yep, the V120 works great with pfSense and a PPPoA connection such as a DSL wan in the UK. I was using one until I recently switched to FTTC.

I just want one box that does everything is there anywhere to enter your PPPoA username and password on pfSence?

There's no way to do pppoa directly so you have to use pppoe and a modem that can bridge the protocols. The Draytek V120 can do that. Other modems offer various bridge and half bridge modes that can also be used. Many ISPs do support pppoe even though they may not advertise it.
Maybe contact the users who have tried the linitx pci modem to what modes it's capable of.Steve
