      I have pfsense 2.1.5 on a mini-itx system. I have a problem with bridging - I have several interfaces (lan, openvpn, and a vlan) and the bridge interfaces according to the status page are all 'learning', they never transition to forward and I can't seem to determine why. Looking up this issue on previous forum posts / google, it was suggested to be related to checksum offloading or other ethernet driver features with a recommendation to turn all these hardware features off, no dice. I also have the error message mentioned elsewhere:

      kernel: bridge0: error setting interface capabilities on {one_of_bridged_interfaces}

      Certainly I can post extensive configurations and log messages and so forth, but I was wondering if maybe someone just magically knows what this deal is and or can recommend steps I can take to further dig into it and try to diagnose on my own.

      Thank you.

        Hmm, you've bridged three different types of interface. Does the error appear for all three types?
