One year of ESF Premium Software Support
-
I bought a VK-T40E and I'm supposed to get One year of ESF Premium Software Support.
When I go to the link provided with the device www.pfSense.org/get-support there's no way to sign up to get that support.
What should I do?
I really want to be impressed w/pfSense but I'm not yet having apparently bricked it in the first 5 mins configuring it and can't get support.
Thanks,

See attached for what I see in the pfSense back office when I try to sign up for "ESF Premium Software Support."

If you drop us a line at help@pfsense.org or sales@pfsense.org someone can get it straightened out for you. That isn't the right signup URL. There is another URL on there that takes you to another page that has an option specifically for your model:
https://portal.pfsense.org/members/signup/support

That link works, thanks!
May I suggest the link sent w/packaging be made to redirect to this new one? That would make for a more enjoyable user experience.
Here's how to do URL rewriting with Apache: http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/rewrite/remapping.html

After signing up, I got the below short email directing me to a link but once there… How do I ask a question to tech support? Via email? Via phone? Per screen show the portal doesn't tell me what to do to get support...

What happens if you click Bundled Support Information? If I need to open a case, I usually go here and open a ticket.

That was it! I thought the Bundled Support Information link would just open a PDF like many of the other links in the pfSense support areas but I was wrong! Thanks!
