      Hello,

I'm trying to stop the large amount of log noise I'm receiving for IPv6 on bridge0 interface unsuccessfully.

How does one create a block rule for a bridge interface? I'm unable to select a bridge interface when creating a rule.

Your help would be much appreciated.

      Thanks,

Could always put it in your floating tab.. But what do you mean you can not select bridge tab in firewall?  Did you not create an interface to assign the bridge too?

Yes I created Bridge0 to bridge my WLAN and LAN interfaces, but when I create a firewall rule there is no tab for the Bridge interface. The only tabs that I recall at this moment since I'm not at my machine is WAN, WLAN, LAN, and DMZ. From what I read, in order to stop logging noise, create a firewall rule to block the port which I already did for the WLAN interface but now I'm still seeing noise for Bridge0 interface.

Once you create the bridge, you have to assign that to an interface - I gave you a picture!!  Your not going to see a tab until you assign the bridge you created to an actual interface.  Say  opt1, 2, 3, or 4 in my case because I have other interfaces assigned to actual nics and my he tunnel via the gif I created.

Notice in my picture I am on the interfaces tab, not the bridges tab.  The bridge will not show up to assign to interface unless it is created before.

So curious are you actually using ipv6?  If not another option to remove the noise is remove it at the source by turning off ipv6.  Sure looks like ipv6 multicast for something to do with UPnP/SSDP with that destination.

You can track down what is generating the noise..  And turn off ipv6 ;)  No noise, and less garbage on your network.
