Captive Portal missing some things
-
Tried to enable a test portal:
php-fpm[64784]: /services_captiveportal.php: The command '/sbin/ipfw zone 2 mdel ' returned exit code '64', the output was 'ipfw: bad arguments, for usage summary ``ipfw'''
Also don't see the /usr/local/sbin/ipfw_context executable.

ipfw_context is no longer needed.
See https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Captive_Portal_Troubleshooting#Zones

Thanks. Is there now never a portal at 8000/8001? I deleted them all and created a new one and it's on 8002, next one 8004.
ipfw zone list
Currently defined contextes and their members:
2: xn1,
4: xn2, -
The port corresponds with its zone id.

But there is never a zoneid 0 (CP listening on 8000) anymore is my point. My initial test was to do a quick telnet to port 8000 since this was the first CP instance. That failed and I went off in the wrong direction. CP was really listening on 8002. Not a huge deal but might be worth noting in the release notes.

I updated the 2.2 release notes page today and added a note about that in the captive portal section.
