      Hi everybody.

I am trying to install the 2.2 RC on an ALIX 2D2 Wifi (AMD geode LXD800, BCM 43222 802.11n 2 antennas and VPN compression card vpn1411).
It looks like it's gonna boot (3 LEDs blinking 1 time one after the other) then it's stuck with the 3 LEDs blinking twice one after the other.

Cannot connect SSH or web browser…

I've tried without wifi and vpn 1411 cards, same thing.

And of course I do not have my serial cable at home so can't check that either.

I've tried both x86 Embedded version (serial and vga) 4go.

I've tried to find any troubleshooting concerning the LED code for the ALIX singleboard hardware, but I didn't find anything on that...

      What I'm missing here ?

PS: pfs 2.1.5 works well on that device.

Thanks for helping me on that.

      ToF !

Most reports are that the ALIX board actually runs significantly better under 2.2.
Try removing the wifi card and then booting. The VPN card is almost certainly widely tested but try removing that too.

Did the image write onto the CF card go successfully? Was this an upgrade or a fresh install?
The default NICs have changed to em(4) in 2.2 so if this is a fresh install it is probably waiting for you to assign interfaces at the serial console.

          first, thanks for answering.

Then yes I've tried without any card. And yes it's a fresh install.

I do not have a serial cable at home today but you're probably right for the network interface, I'll try that on Monday and I will update that post then.

If you don't want to wait you can upgrade an existing 2.1.5 install to 2.2.

              Thanks for the TIP.

It works well know. Except the WIFI interface even though FreeBSD 10 is supposed to support it according to their website (it's a BCM43222).
So I just have to go to amazon and get another one  :-\.

              Thanks again.
