Wan graph doesnt match lan speed
-
Hey there,
Seeing some strange things I dont understand.
On the WAN interface traffic graph we are seeing an out speed at 15mb or so (just an example).
But the lan interface is only showing half of that.We have 5 interface in this box.
Wan
Nat Lan
HA sync
LAN
DTSLanIf you see the attached image it might be easier to understand what I am trying to explain.
In the example you see the rest of the lan interface (not including ha sync, its a direct connect) does not add up to more then 7.5mb but wan interface shows 15.5mbf.Why the difference?

There is a double-counting bug somewhere in "the system" that has not been resolved. I think it tends to appear on interfaces that have VLANs or other aggregation methods where there is traffic for multiple logical things flowing on a single physical connection. There are quite a few posts about it elsewhere.

Thank you for that answer…

I have the bug with neither VLAN nor any interface aggregation. I do however have IPSec site-site connections active, so in that sense there are multiple logical channels out on the WAN.
