USB stick installer to APU platform SD card.

Can you guys fix the USB stick installer so it will install correctly to an SD card in an APU board? Thanks!!

It does, though you don't want a full install on SD generally, you need to write out the nano image (which you could still do from the memstick but it's easier to just write it on something else).

The problem with Nano BSD image is after booting one must break out of the boot and do a
set kern.cam.boot_delay=10000 boot
change conf files and then copy an active slice to inactive slice, etc….There are plenty of non super geek users getting hooked up to PFsense that cant navigate the minefield of install.
It sure would be nice if this was a lot easier. If the boot USB stick install supported installing to SD card, and installing nanoBSD images to SD card, that would be awesome.

If you DIY, you may need to change things like that or otherwise have a less than optimal install experience. People who buy them from us don't have that concern and have a very easy means of initial install, and an easy means of re-flashing if necessary. No minefield at all if you buy from us. If you want to DIY, you have to expect you might be in for some challenges.

The price premium going that route is double. Can you not have some cheaper monetization path that is software only? Perhaps letting people buy the super to easy install version, or having some very clever nag screens in the menus or the dashboard?
The main barrier to entry for a much wider audience is the install process.
