    3G modem: Sierra MC8705 users around?

      2.1 contains a patch for adding the USB ID of the Sierra MC8705 modem.

      What is weird, is that the device ID 0x6803 is already taken by the MC8765 (the list of Linux USB IDs confirms this too).
      EDIT: hrmpf I didn't realize see the subtle difference between 6803 and 68A3…

      Anyway, the device ID seems to be used by a couple of "Sierra Wireless Direct IP modems", in comparison Linux just denotes all of them with this name, NetBSD has also various devices with this device ID.
