      Hi!
      Somebody uses LAN as bridge? Create a simple queue, based on PIRQ. The same rules for the WAN and LAN. On the WAN works on LAN not. 2.1.5 all worked with the same config.

        Anything in the logs? Similar to what's reported here:

          Nothing interesting in the logs. PF swore before Ermal added support ALTQ for bridge. Now, do not complain, but does not work.

            Ah, so the same symptoms as reported in that bug report. That's not you who reported it is it?

            Hmm, I expect to see a lot more complaint traffic if this was some problem in FreeBSD 10 especially if it was a regression from 8.3.

            What hardware are you running this on?

              No I'm not, but I closely followed the issue. My test configuration requires a bridge.

              I would also like to see more, but how? Debug kernel? The default queue must operate in any case, but no.

              Zotac IONITX-P-E, nfe, em, ath (AR9285). nfe+ath->bridge.

                I assume you've read this:
                @ermal:

                For bridge you have to set the sysctl where pf filters will be applied by default they are on member interfaces.

                That makes sense if the altq shaping is tied into pf and pf is filtering on the members then applying shaping to the bridge isn't going to work. That hadn't occurred to me, thanks Ermal.  :)
                Normally I would expect the filtering to have been moved to the bridge in a setup such as yours already though.
