Today, panic across the world. Facebook down for more than 1 hour.

Weird, an hour before Wolrdwide Facebook down , Snort in my PfSense block Facebook as it detected as Malware. First thing came in my mind , False Positive. My immediate  action , click clear button on  blocked item and log item. Add facebook.com, ajax.googleapis.com, fbcdn-profile-a.akamaihd.net (aliases) in Pass List. Silly me…..

Anyone experience it on their Pfsense with Snort? Or perhaps , check ur log again and please share it here.

Ha! I had it to that to me too one day and then I looked to where it was resolving and saw it resolving over seas and said, eh, I'll wait tell dns resolves it somewhere else. Was a week before I got back on there, didn't miss much either  ;D
