PPPoE dialing sequence

Hi,
I would like to know is it possible to alter the PPPoE interface dialing sequence ? While I was on 2.1.5, I had 2 PPPoE interfaces which could dial parallel at the same time. However when I upgraded to 2.2 this is no longer possible :(
Is there a config file anywhere that I could modify for such a behavior ? tried looking through rc.bootup and such to no avail :( Thanks for any help out there

this is due to the limitation that I only have 1 modem for dialing by the ISP, although I had 2 separate subscriptions. The problem comes when the modem they provided is unable to handle another pppoe request after the 1st one has been established. However if both pppoe sessions were to be dialed parallel, everything would work perfectly fine.

i'm using the links for load balancing currently :)

What links? What kind of load balancing are you doing over a single uplink wire?

I'd guess that it's a DSL connection? If the individual account links are rate limited at the ISP then maybe this is possible?
Perhaps it's one of those unexpected situations where something odd just works although I have my doubts as to whether this is really possible - calvinz, are you certain that both links were being established in the previous version AND that they both were transferring data?

Edmund, yes it is a DSL (FTTH) connection. The rate is limited by the accounts subscribed with the ISP hence its independent. And yes i'm certain that both links are established properly and unique. I had execute test in parallel, speedtest of both were at the subscribed speed when test were done at the same time. Both connections had its own unique external IP address as well which is routable from outside.
