The http://tftpd32.jounin.net/ software works for a period of time and then crashes when run on the desktop, this might be linked to the screen switching back on as theres no screen saver. The columns dont adjust properly either making it difficult to stretch out the main text column to read the messages and the window resizing is out about as well, but it does save to text document.
The bit about syslog watcher
"Syslog Watcher is also free for up to 5 devices. http://www.snmpsoft.com/downloads.html"is no longer available for free for up to 5 devices.
Anyone know of any reliable free windows syslog servers for windows for home use?

Still limited to 5 source IP addresses though :(
