Just really struggling to figure this out. I've got 30 tabs open and 8 hours in I still can't nail this down.

Thought I had the answer when I read Marcelloc's post here: https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=87424.msg480232#msg480232

But even though I have followed his instructions explicitly I still can't get the anti-virus to work, which is all I really want.

I'm running 2.2 upgraded from 2.1.5. This is a very small network with pfsense running dual WANs for failover (which works great until I get squid3 running), and a single LAN into a switch. Very straight forward and simple arrangement.

I will energetically answer any questions about my config and processes if someone would be kind enough to help me please.

OK, I've managed to fix Squid3 and get Clam AV working too. Following this step by step-minus the squidguard-devel package which I didn't want.  https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=87424.0

I had some left over entries in the integrations dialogue. From a previous installation I guess?

Now I need failover to work, and it isn't at the moment. I've read quite a bit and tried most of it.

        Thoughts anyone??

Well, I got Failover working. Ticking the "default gateway switching" box did the trick. I did not need to add a floating rule like many trying to do this in 2.1.5.
