Help - Software-based (free) solution in replacement of Fortigate Appliance

Good Day!

We are currently using Fortigate 300A for the head office and 16 Fortigate 60b for other sites. I was assigned to look for a software-based solution lieu of using Fortigate appliance. So far I've seen great reviews about using PFsense as a Firewall. Please take a minute on the existing Fortigate services that we used.

Head Office with Fortigate 300A uses the following service:

• Secure connection from Internal servers to public access ( Don't know the exact term.)
• IPsec for secure remote connection for local and AD users
• UTM (Several types of Web content filtering for every users)
• Policy Manager (Combines web, application filtering and port restrictions)
• Application control.

Remote Site with Fortigate 60B:

"Main Connection via IPVPN or Frame Relay and separate ISP for Internet access.

• IPSec VPN will connect to head office using ISP when IPVPN is down.
• UTM (Several types of Web content filtering for every users)
• Policy Manager (Combines web, application filtering and port restrictions)
• Application control.

If using PFsense, what other software do I still need to make a complete solution?..
