Poor throughput on APU 1D4 Alix APU G-T40E (only 15Mbit/s)

I have an AOU 1D4 with 4GB RAM and a 16GB SSD with a fresh pfSense 2.2 amd64 (only very little pf rules) on it.
I am very surprised about the poor performance on the cable connection:
Only 15 MBit/sec is possible. With my "old" routing hardware (HP N36L (Athlon II Neo N36L, 2x 1.30GHz)) there were the full 50MBit possible.
I read that there should be 300Mbit+ possible with APU 1D.
The load values at the dashboard and rrd graphs looks good,
Do you have any suggestions for me?

It's capable of significantly more than that. Do you have to force speed and duplex on your WAN? Those Realtek NICs aren't capable of doing so (hardware issue). If not, it may just be that those NICs and your cable modem don't get along, in which case putting a switch between the WAN and cable modem probably would resolve.
