      Here is what I did.
Made a backup copy of the config file with RRD data.

      Did a full install of 2.2 amd64.
      Logged into webadmin.
      Restored the config file.
      Rebooted.
      Got to configuring firewall.
      Thats where it hangs.

      Did another full install.
      installed autobackup.
      Selected a backup and restored.
      Rebooted.
      Hangs at the same spot.

      Any suggestions?

Do you have any incompatible alias or interface names?

Not as far as I know.
Looked in the xml file and couldnt find a numeric only alias.

          But this was a 2.2 i386 to 2.2AMD64.

Its a bit concerning that both the autobackup and the manual back failed to restore.

The rrd data will not survive across an architecture but usually simply doesn't appear. If you have a backup of the config file without rrd data try that.
