How to block Website with Dansguardian for only one User/Host
-
Hi all,
I have a DG and Squid3 running (new: now not transparent) and now i try to block one site for one internal host/ip.
Its this possible or i have to authenticate the user first? I can use a LDAP server on my Synology if needed.
Can i block this site even if https is used?Thx for your help…

isn't easier to just write a FW rule?

Hi samham
Sorry, "one" website its only the beginning ;D. I try to filter not only website but also url's like www.example.com/foo.

if you are not worried about the ip changing, you could auth based on ip, and create a group to block that user.

I was referring to the client ip, use groups to filter the url and make the client ip a member of that group
