      Hi,

Now that we have updated the pfSense firmware to 2.2.2 I have an update from my previous post - Ver 2.2.1 & Draytek VPN tunnels.

2 off Draytek 2830 with Firmware Versions 3.6.4.* are stable and do not drop when they rekey.

All other Draytek 2830 & 2860 with Firmware Versions 3.6.7.* / 8.* will drop eventually.

I have asked Draytek to provide a downgrade to 3.6.4.* for testing purposes - I can but wait and see.

      Dave

        Hi,

I have a VPN between Pfsense and Draytek 2830 with firmware 3.6.8_sb.
In beginning, i had a lot of problem.

Now, I check "Disable Rekey"  on Pfsense and my vpn is good.

          Hotwater12,

Unfortunately this does not work - still waiting for an answer off Draytek.

I rebooted the Draytek and the PF Build 2.2.2 9 hours ago.

PF Build 2.1.5 has been up for 9hrs.

PF Build 2.2.2 has been up for 19mins.

If I can get firmware 3.6.4.* I will downgrade my Drayteks as I cannot see a resolution within PF for the foreseeable future.

          Dave

Could you get me into an affected Draytek to review? If so PM me and we can arrange specifics.

              Hi cmb,

Thanks for looking, I have sent you a pm with access details.

Draytek have responded to my request and I have access to the earlier firmware revisions but I will wait until you have looked.

              Dave
