I am familiar with Windows DNS servers. I am trying to set up a DNS server on my home network for name resolution for my NAS and Media devices. I installed TinyDNS on the pfSense box and configured it with a couple A-records. I can't get any of them to work. I am so confused now that I don't know if I have things set up correctly at all. Is there a good doc out there on the best way to set this up?

      Thanks in advance!

Why didn't you just use the built-in DNS forwarder host override settings if you are using static IPs or the DHCP server's static maqppings if you are using DHCP to assign addresses?

With those two I have all my DNS needs for my LAN covered.
