Mongodb and Unifi
-
I am trying to get Unifi running on a box using this tutorial http://www.robpeck.com/2015/03/installing-the-ubiquiti-unifi-controller-software-on-pfsense-2.2/
Everything seems to go fine until I try to start mongodb
[2.2.2-RELEASE][root@TESTR.locald]/root: /usr/local/etc/rc.d/mongod onestart
Starting mongod.
/usr/local/etc/rc.d/mongod: WARNING: failed to start mongod
[2.2.2-RELEASE][root@TESTR.locald]/root:I found this http://freebsd.pro/topic/28/ and tried to manually add the config to /etc/rc.conf
If I reboot the entries in rc.conf disappear.
What am I missing and what am I not understanding here.
This is on a pfSense SG-2440 box
Thanks

Different files referred to in the links but potentially two different methods to save settings after reboot might be found here.
