Pfsense keyword filtering

is there any way to use pfsense to filter keywords and block searches containing them? i have both squid and squidguard installed but dont know how to use them to do this.. i have pfsense installed and working already.

I don't think squid + squidguard will do that for you as they are URL filters. Perhaps DansGuardian, a content filter?

okay, i have dansguardian installed. im trying to block minecraft videos. i litterally just want to block the word minecraft from any and all pages. if it says minecraft, i want it blocked. im tired of hearing pathetic morons talk about a childerens game. if you want to play it whatever, but its installed on the computer and we have the xbox game theres no reason he should need to watch god damn videos that some sad saps made. how would i simply block the word minecraft with dansguardian? thats all i want to do.

If encryption is used you'll need be become a man in the middle, or intercept it on the local client after decryption.

I really can't imagine the scenario where somebody's browsing habits for something so benign are so upsetting to you that you need to interfere. Why do you care if someone watches Minecraft videos on YouTube? If that's what they want to do, why is it your business in the first place? You may think Minecraft is a children's game played by "pathetic morons", but it has opened up worlds of imagination for millions of people around the world and not just children. I pay to run a VPS that hosts a Minecraft server used by 30+ local schoolkids and I am often online playing and administrating the server, so I suppose I must be one of those pathetic morons you were talking about.
