      Hi Guys,

My problem is that during the installation, pfSense recognizes my network cards as both Intel Pro 1000 Legacy adapters.

My setup is a whitebox Server 2012 build with both hyper-V as my main VM Host. I also have VirtualBox which I'm intending to use a my firewall host. I have two onboard Gig Nic's (Marvell), one for the physical server host, and the other for pfSense.

I have configured pfSense the way that many guides and tutorials have explained - 1 network adapter set to bridged (Marvell adapter no.2), 2nd adapter set to internal network called intnet.

When I try to auto detect my NIC's in pfSense, its says "no link-up detected"?

Is there something I need to change on the physical adapter or some other setting?

      Thanks

Using virtual adapters the detection code may not be able to see the change correctly.
Just select the interfaces manually instead of using the auto-detect. I imagine they will be shown as em0 and em1.
This shouldn't affect the normal operating of the NICs.

        Steve
