Upgrade to 2.2.3 on RCC-VE 2440 System ?

Do I use the standard 64-bit firmware update URL or do I wait for an update on https://firmware.netgate.com/auto-update/ADI/amd64?
-
You should definitely wait.

According to these threads you have SG series or multiple boxes?

Either way, upgrading should work just fine via auto-upgrade.

If you're asking me (those are my threads) I have an SG series. This thread isn't mine (see original poster - different person). I was asking why 1st reply told the original poster to to wait on 2.2.3 (unrelated to SG vs. Netgate images). This was a serious questions as my SG box shipped with 2.2.2, and I want to know if there's a good reason to not use 2.2.3…
Now if I could just get an answer to my 2 x questions in the threads you linked (questions are in the subject line, and have not been answered, even though you have replied multiple times)… ::)

Oops, my bad sorry. You opened two threads so I automatically assumed "here's another one" ; ) Answering to you on those threads…

Yeah, I opened those threads. I can't seem to get simple questions answered about hardware (SG-2440) I purchased directly from pfSense, to support the project. I even have a Gold subscription, and with responses like you (employee of pfSense/Netgate) have given to my threads, I'm not sure I want to help support pfSense or your employment.

I've answered your questions:

You say you want to support the project yet you ask of us to publicly point out all the optimizations that can directly hurt the project. As said in threads I linked above, you are welcome to contact us via customersupport@pfsense.org. I will not reply further on this matter since it's all on voluntary basis.

You should wait for the official factory image to show up there and/or on the portal site that you can see once you login.
These and other questions should always come in to customersupport@pfsense.org – we don't always monitor the forum closely for customer requests such as these and to ensure that you receive a timely and appropriate response, it is best to use the official support channels. Basic questions like this do not count as support incidents, so there isn't any worry about expending any support time on such things.
