i have a Netgate rc-2440 with this image installed:  pfSense-memstick-ADI-2.2.3-DEVELOPMENT-amd64-20150620-2353

pfsense->system->firmware->auto updater shows new update ready:

      -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A new version is now available

      Current version: 2.2.3-DEVELOPMENT
Built On: Sat Jun 20 23:53:13 CDT 2015
          New version: 2.2.3-RELEASE

        Update source: https://updates.pfsense.org/_updaters/amd64
      ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      i don't see a specific ADI RC-VE update version here:  https://updates.pfsense.org/_updaters/amd64/

my question is will autoupdater know to grab the ADI version updates vs the pfsense SG version? or is there such a thing as an ADI update?

do i have the incorrect updater source link?

You don't need a different update URL, the default one is fine. The ADI memstick exists only so it's pre-configured with the appropriate serial console settings. Once it's installed, that's no longer relevant.
