      Hello,
I am using pfblocker on my system and have them placed at the bottom of my rules list. At the top of my rules list are rules to allow certain traffic to pass through.

It seems that at random times the rules order will flip putting all my allowed rules at the bottom of my list and at that point my port forwards rules will stop working.

Has anyone else seen this problem? Solution?

Thank you… Help is always appreciated very much!

      Sincerely,
      Kell

pfblocker package does not exist any more. If you mean pfBlockerNG, then the ordering is configurable in multiple ways, give the GUI some look.

          Kell,

I've seen this behavior occasionally.  I have a thread on it somewhere around here…

you can solve this if you set pfblocker to make aliases only and make your own block rules based on that aliases ( copy pfblocker rules ).

              Thank you for the help!

I opted for setting up the Alias technique and for the last few days all is working.

              Have a great weekend!

Dunno which part of "pfblocker package is DEAD" is unclear here. Why on earth are you using this? As noted above, the order is configurable in pfBlockerNG.

I have mine setup pfB_Pass/Match|pfB_Blcok/Reject and then hit Save. It still puts the Block on top. Is there something else I need to do?
