Same Gateway for two WANs
-
Hi,
My ISP give me 5 IPs, and I need that to NAT different CNAMES to different servers on my LAN
When I try to setup a second WAN using the same ISP pfSense not allow me to setup the same gateway to the second WAN.Any idea how to make that?
Thanks

I would try one WAN with virtual IPs.

That's not multiple WANs, as you have only one Internet connection. Just add virtual IPs.

Hi
I have one ISP with one single IP and other ISP with 5 IPs
I try the setup from that video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zrBr0N0WrTY) and works.
But with virtual IPs I need to use NAT 1:1 and with that I'm unable to setup NAT from one external port to another internal port.
In my current setup (two DLinks, one of them multiwan, that I want to replace with pfSense) I have a lot off RDPs from port 33xx to internal server 192.168.0.xx
I'm using pfSense as a VM. Maybe setup two pfSenses VMs?
Thanks

virtual IPs I need to use NAT 1:1 and with that I'm unable to setup NAT from one external port to another internal port.
Why? In port forward you just select at "Destination" the virtual IP you want.

Hi,
Next time I should read the manual before ask. On the video he tells VIP need to use NAT 1:1 and take this as true.
Virtual IP and Port Forwarding.
Thanks.

Yes, you don't have to use 1:1 NAT from your virtual IPs. However if you have added them for convenience you can override the 1:1 entry with a port forward to change the ports.
