      Hello

      i have been running PFSENSE for a number of years now, i recently (2 years ago) installed it onto my works ex Astaro gateway appliance (110/120) - only recently i have noticed that my LAN is only connected at (100baseTX <full-duplex>) and yet i have a Gb switch.. i dont know how long its been connected at that speed but it explains my speed issues….. the astaro gateway appliance has 4 Gb Ports but when i go into the interface and look under advanced i do not see a 1000 option only 100baseTX <full-duplex>- 10baseTX <full-duplex>etc.... can someone please help me?</full-duplex></full-duplex></full-duplex>

          Any good?
          https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Forcing_Interface_Speed_or_Duplex_Settings

          Select the desired speed and duplex from the drop-down menu, which contains all media types supported by the card. (ex: "100BaseTX full-duplex")

              If you are certain it should be able to do a faster nic speed, see if there are any drivers for it in freebsd 11, which you might be able to use in 10?

              I know you can hack later window drivers to make them work on earlier versions of windows, so the above might be an option.

                  What's the ethernet chipset?

                  Example:

                  Diagnostics > Command Prompt

                  grep em0 /var/log/dmesg.boot

                  $ grep em0 /var/log/dmesg.boot
                  em0: <intel(r) 1000="" pro="" legacy="" network="" connection="" 1.0.6="">port 0xec00-0xec3f mem 0xfebe0000-0xfebfffff,0xfebc0000-0xfebdffff irq 18 at device 4.0 on pci4
                  em0: Ethernet address: 00:30:18:b5:22:12

                  How old is it? It appears the older ones were 10/100 only.

                  And this from 2009 that shows 4 10/100 ports too:

                    The revision of the device would help. Astaro 110/120 REV3 and lower were 10/100. Does it use an Atom processor or Via C3 Eden
