      has someone successfully setup pfsense to use 1 internet WAN 'nat-ing' 2 subnet LANS?

      + 192.168.2.0 /24 (vlan 2)
      1 WAN |
                + 192.168.3.0 /24 (vlan 3)

      i cant seem to find the documentation for this. thanks :)

        That's very common. It's the standard setup for multiple LAN style interfaces.
        As long as you have outbound NAT set to automatic, which is the default setting, you should have no problem achieving something similar to your diagram.

        Is there some step that's giving you trouble?

          …and you add pass rules on the extra LAN/VLAN interfaces.
          (Only the first LAN-style interface gets a default pass rule added)
