I am new to networks, so please excuse my silliness.

I use pfsense on hyper v in windows server 2012.

      I am an ISP, I have 3 wan(hn0, hn1, hn2) smd 1 lan  ( opt0  )

my clients are all on same  lan..
I have successfully configured pppoe server and using it  to get traffic out from hn2.

my l3 switch has failed, so I was planning on using pfsense for distribution.

hn0 and hn1 are connected to my providers microtik, I don't have physical access to that.

my clients directly dial to my providers mikrotik.

now how do I configure pfsense do that my clients on lan can directly dial (pppoe) to my providers mikrotik on hn0 and hn1?

how do I avoid storming ?

      I tried bridging, I guess I missed something ..

it works when I bridge it in windows …, but then my pfsense pppoe and captive portal fails ...

Can you provide a diagram of this network?

And, pfSense is not a layer 3 switch per se, so can you clarify what you intend to use pfSense for and reference the diagram?

I have to ask. How is it that someone is "new to networks" and an ISP at the same time?

A comprehensive network diagram is worth 10,000 words and 15 conference calls.
