      Hello,

I recently upgraded our firewall cluster from 2.0.3 to 2.1-RC0 and everything went well with the exception of ip alias virtual ips. The existing ip aliases that I had using the carp interface as their parents lost that association and ended up with no interface association after the upgrade breaking CARP. I had to go into the config and re associate the ip aliases with the correct CARP interface again. Other than this the upgrade went smooth. The only issue I see is that the new pure nat reflection mode doesnt appear to work well versus the old proxy based one, but thats for another thread.

      Thanks,

      Jon

Do you happen to have a copy of your pre-upgrade config and the config from immediately after the upgrade?
You don't have to share them here, you can send them in privately.

The VIP naming scheme changed from 2.0.x to 2.1 so anything involving CARP VIPs should have been switched over, but this isn't the first report I've seen of trouble with the transition. We'll need to see the configs in order to track it down though.
