Need to port forward ARQ protocol

hi all,
got a device where i need to port forward a UDP and ARQ protocol, UDP i can do but i havnt heard of ARQ before, does anyone know how to do this?

Are you sure it said "ARQ"? What sort of device is it? Make/model? That certainly isn't something in the standard protocol list nor one I recognize.

Never heard of it either, but Wiki has:

It looks like it's the official name for TCP error/flow control method of sending packets again if no ACK is received.

It does not have a specific protocol number nor any sort of port assigned to it, so not sure it something you would forward or allow..

I saw those but it didn't make much sense in the context given so I assumed it wasn't relevant. Seemed like it might have been more likely to be a typo or a miscommunication than that.
