      Hello folks
      I'm running pfsense for 10years already with successfull CARP setup on multiple interfaces..
      I'm aware that with two interfaces I need a network with minimum /29 subnet mask.

      Unfortunatelly I'm going to change operator and the new one does not offer an option for subnet /29 :( I can get only /30
      According to my knowledge VIP must be in the same subnet as physical int.
      I wonder is there any other possible way to do this setup without additional router before pfsense???

      What if I get two set of subnets with /30 ??? any clues?

        since pfSense 2.2 3 IPs in one subnet are no longer necessary:
