PFSense VM using 3 times as much CPU as Sabnzbd, Normal?

I was wondering I was downloading with 100Mbit and it's using about 40-50% of my cpu seemed at bit high should i investigate or is this normal. It's a clean pfsense install no trafficshaping or anything crazy

System info:
CPU I5 650
16GB mem
serval network cards
VMWare Workstation
PFSense 2.1-RC0 (amd64)
built on Sat Jun 22 15:45:58 EDT 2013

Basicly is this normal and is there anyway to improve?
