    …however the System works.
This only happens on my D2500CC - on any other Board I use, there is no such a problem.
It stops mostly after mounting the USB-stick, and sometimes I see the next line about renaming em1 to em1_vlan7.
Pfsense works, and after a while I can hear the start-sound, but nothing happens on the console.
It don't responds to any keyboard-input, and the regular shutdown from the GUI dosn't work.
Also the "shutdown -h now" in the ssh-shell seems not to work, and I have to use "reboot" which works as expected - but only in the ssh-shell-, not within the GUI.

I also can't find any usefull entry in the log-file.

    Any ideas?

    Harry

    [edit] I use amd64 nanobsd 4G

Yeah, it's a known though still unsolved issue occuring at least on Intel D2500CC, Jetway NF99FL-525 and some WatchGuard Fireboxes:

Sounds strange, but after a long time of investigation, I found, that it seems to have somethinh to do with the pppoe-client.
As long as it is unconfigured, pfSense works absolutely normal, and the Console works as expected.
As soon as I define a pppoe-connection, the problem is there.

This is strange, because mpd should start after system recognizes the usb devices…
