2.2.4-2.2.5 Can't connect to pfsense anymore
-
Hi
I tried to update to the latest version. What happened:
1. I couldn't connect to the pfsense anymore (web), ssh was still working. Connection to the internet not working anymore.
2. Reinstalled the update from console, thought it might fix the problem -> still the same
I hate to say that, but a firewall is supposed to work after an update.3. Changed it back to Factory Default Settings and tried to use the Backup
-> I got this:```
Fatal error: Call to undefined function upload_config() in /usr/local/pkg/write_config/parse_config_upload.inc on line 5Now I do have access to the firewall, but I can't login. It seems the login is broken. Any suggestions? ChacalCH

It sounds, like others reporting similar issues, that you have files missing after your upgrade. The most likely explanation is that your upgrade hit a disk full scenario. Did you, perhaps, select a full backup before upgrade on a device with a relatively small storage device?
The best way forward is probably to reformat and reinstall. If you haven't got a copy of your configuration, you might be able to mount the drive and copy /conf/config.xml to a USB drive before your reinstall.

I have a SG-8860, seems unlikely that it ran out of disk space.
The backups are saved automatically (gold subscription).I was now able to login, but I got this:

upload_config() should be found in /usr/local/pkg/autoconfigbackup.inc
It could just be an issue while the system was booting and reinstalling all packages, including AutoConfigBackup.
or maybe something went wrong with the package reinstall part way through installing AutoConfigBackup.
You could reinstall AutoConfigBackup and then use it to do a manual backup, make some config change and check that it has done the backup and that no errors are logged.
