After install to 2.2.5 disk now 98% full
-
When I was running 2.2.4 disk usage usually ran at about 68% full after upgrading to 2.2.5 its now running at 98% full. I checked all the settings in sarg, squid, squidguard, the settings haven't changed what is the best way to see how my disk usage is being used so I can make more room. Dave

What disk or drive you are using here in this case, you are talking about?
Is this a ordinary HDD, a SSD or a mSATA, USB Pen drive, or a SATA-DOM or perhaps
a CFCard or CFast card, DOM-SSD or perhaps something else not named by me?In normal you could enable TRIM support, so that on the empty blocks can be write on
or blocks with older data can be overwritten. It works in normal for the all drives with
TRIM support, likes SSD, mSATA, DOM-SSD and SATA-DOM. It will not be activated by
default or automatically at a full install. -
I was to busy to go thru the steps to clean it out and the disk usage went down to 70% by itself after a couple of days.

If it's Squid causing this then yes, it will flush the cache eventually when the daily cronjob hits; however – that's no solution! You need to configure things properly so that this doesn't happen again!
