I do not know if this is the proper forum
If not, then delete or move

      I upgraded from 2.2.4 to 2.2.5 ( 3 days ago)

And the Internet connection is disconnected
      Random period of time

Disconnect from the Internet  6 times

Once it was impossible to redial
      Had to do to reboot

ISP claims that he has no problem

      What could be the problem
      Why is it disconnected

        before i upgraded
        did not have any disconnections
        So it seems strange
        Within two days
        There are 6
        Already 7 disconnections

        What to check
How do you begin to look at the problem

apinger is claiming your gateway goes down frequently. (no clue if thats true or not).

so try finding out if it really goes down or change the monitor ip or disable gateway-monitoring altogether

That's not true. Your gateway's gone up and down as much as several times a day on numerous occasions well before you were on 2.2.5.

Probably really are losing connection from the looks of it. It's happened quite a bit since roughly mid October, and started occasionally in mid September. It was clean prior to September 17.

What's in your PPP log at the time you're getting apinger alarms?

              This is new to me
              Before upgrading
I've always had an internet connection
Maybe the link disConnect I did not notice (A little weird Because it is Internet Services of my whole family and they did not tell me anything)

              Here's the ppp log

The PPP log you've posted shows repeated failures to authenticate. LCP attempts the PAP requested by the ISP five times, gets no reply to any of those attempts, gives up and tears down the connection.

Please identify what happens in the PPP log when apinger shows the gateway down, as cmb asked. If you see LCP: peer not responding to echo requests, the likelihood is that the PPPoE connection really has failed, and should - as mpd5 will attempt automatically - be restarted. If you see something else, it might be an apinger related issue or something else entirely.

                  What is LCP or PAP

the likelihood is that the PPPoE connection really has failed

This can happen because of what ?

You might find the Wikipedia page on PPP helpful.

LCP is Link Control Protocol - the supervisory element of PPP. Amongst other things, it is used for authentication protocols such as PAP, also for link level echo/reply, which is like ping but at a lower level.

Could this be a hardware problem
in the Network card (wan1) that connected to the modem
                      or modem

Anything is possible, but NICs rarely fail and the drivers are essentially identical between 2.2.4 and 2.2.5 (both are based on FreeBSD 10.1, though 2.2.5 contains a few more FreeBSD security fixes and errata than 2.2.4).

There might be some sort of deterioration in the physical line between you and the ISP, especially if you are using DSL. Moreover, DSL modems sometimes go bad.

One of those would be my guess given it started getting spotty for no apparent reason with no changes made, continued and gotten worse over time.
