    Hi,

in windows we have sfc /scannow utility that checks hashes of system files and compares against known one to identify and repair corrupt files.

is there some thing similar in pfsense ?
so that with one command we can be sure that all our original system files are ok ?

Yes there is, you can use mtree to verify vs. /etc/installed_filesystem.mtree

I stand corrected.  How on Earth would anybody know to find or use that?  But then the same could be said for sfc.exe.  Thanks for the tip.  Straight into the bag of tricks it goes.
