      Hi.

      I'm running pfsense 2.2.4.

Once u setup limiters, does they still need to be in the top of the firewall rules?

      Is a basic rule?

      Thanks.

Yes, you always need a firewall rule to direct traffic into a limiter.

My doubt is that the rule must be always in the top of the rules?
          Thanks KOM for your answer.

For traffic to be placed through the limiter the rule with the limiter on it must be the first rule to match the traffic.  This is actually usually the bottom default pass any any rule on LAN.
